Improving Our Community through Golf

Golf San Antonio and Valero Energy Corporation are proud to bring you this year’s exciting edition of the Valero Texas Open, a San Antonio tradition since 1922 and the third oldest PGA TOUR tournament. In addition to bringing the PGA TOUR’s brightest stars and The Golf Channel's and CBS' international golf audience to San Antonio, the Valero Texas Open delivers a positive economic impact to the city and helps the city’s tourism industry by promoting San Antonio as a golf destination.

But the tournament’s most significant and lasting impact comes in the form of significant annual contributions to charity. Our commitment to charity is the cornerstone of our business, and one of the major reasons why sponsors, spectators and volunteers get involved in the PGA TOUR and the Valero Texas Open. Use the navigation links to learn more about our sponsorship programs, this year’s tournament schedule, volunteer opportunities, special consumer promotions, and coming soon, a special historical retrospective on the tournament.

Please also visit the charity link to learn more about how you can become active in our many charitable programs.
