Best Practices
- Participating schools must reach a fundraising minimum of $500 to be eligible to participate in Chip In for Schools program for 2009.
- Return all checks and cash in an envelope with the school name and program name written on front of envelope.
- Make sure all checks are written out to: Golf San Antonio.
Ticket Solicitation Rules & Regulations
- Participating charities may not sell tickets in advance of the official fundraising period as defined by GSA. You may notify your constituents via normal communication (example, newsletters) that you are participating in Chip In for Schools, but may not directly or individually request a ticket purchase in advance of the official period. Failure to abide by this provision will result in expulsion from the program.
- Limited use of the trademarks of GSA, Chip In for Schools and the Valero Texas Open will be granted to all participating schools. Samples of materials bearing the trademarks must be submitted to GSA for approval prior to distribution.
- Unauthorized use of the trademarks of GSA, the Valero Texas Open and Chip In for Schools is strictly prohibited, and is grounds for expulsion from the program.
- Payments from Golf San Antonio to participating schools will equal 100% of the value of the collected ticket orders. No payment will be made on uncollected ticket orders.
- These rules may be amended at any time at the sole and absolute discretion of GSA.
