 Chip In for Schools
Chip In for Schools is a program initiated by Golf San Antonio to help participating schools to earn money for their school programs by selling advanced tickets to the Valero Texas Open.
Sell, Sell, Sell
Tickets to the Valero Texas Open are sold for $15 a ticket through the Chip In for Schools program, which is a great deal compared to the $20 advance tickets $25 at the gate. Each ticket is good for any one day (Thursday - Sunday).

Earn Extra Money
There are several opportunities to earn extra money through our incentive programs.
Incentive Program
- Gift Certificate – Your school will receive one $25 gift certificate (several items to select from). You can award the certificate to the student or family that sells the most tickets. It’s a great incentive that costs you nothing to use!
- Money List - Raise a minimum of $500 and earn a part of the $15,000 purse.
- End of Year Incentive Pool – A designated incentive pool
will be distributed at the end of the year based on performance
and reaching and/or exceeding the minimum fundraising threshold
of $500.
- Grant Opportunities – Schools that reach a minimum fundraising
threshold of $1,000 and have been in the program at least one year are invited to submit a grant application. GSA
award amounts may vary each
year.
